Determine the Objectives of Economic Evaluation?
There are two objectives of economic evaluation. These are:
1) To introduce resource consideration into analysis and to assess the opportunity cost of new procedures and programmes (preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, rehabilitative)
2) To develop a framework within which the costs of the new procedures of programmes can be compared to their benefits.
