Determine the disadvantages of GPS system

-  Maps not up to date hence instructed to carry out an incorrect manoeuvre (for example turn into a road that no longer exists)

-  Unless the system is very sophisticated, road closures because of accidents or road works will cause problems to a sat nav system

-  Potential interferences from external sources (main problem on aircraft)

-  Signal loss can cause problems with GPS systems

-  Incorrect start/end point keyed into system.
