(a) For the bit stream 010011, show the waveforms for each of the code indicated. Consider that the signal level for NRZ-L for mark is positive; the signal level for the previous bit (NRZI) was a mark and was positive; the most recent preceding mark (AMI) was negative and the most recent preceding space was positive.

(b) Using the generator polynomial x4 + x + 1 and the message: 010001111100.

Determine the codeword which is transmitted using CRC.

(c) Show the waveform for an asynchronous transmission assuming the following:

8 data bits with value 11010001 (LSB listed first here), one parity bit (even), one start bit, one stop bit, and a baud rate of 100.

Transmission starts at time t = 0, label the starting/ending time for each bit in the transmission. Initially, idle line is high.
