Determine molecular mass of atoms, Chemistry

Assignment Help:

Q. Determine Molecular Mass of Atoms

Ans: 6.02 x 1023  is a really big number. It would be hard to count that many of any object. That's one of the reasons we count atoms by using mass. (It's also too hard to count the atoms individually -- what a boring job that would be!)

First let's take a look at the problem without using the dreaded word "atom". Let's consider tiny fish-shaped snack crackers. On the box it says that 55 crackers have a mass of 30.0 g. If the fish cracker packaging plant puts out 2387g of fish crackers in one minute, then how many little fish crackers are made per minute?
