Determine lower and upper cut-off frequency, Electrical Engineering

Assignment Help:

Q. In an amplifier, the maximum voltage gain is 1500 and occurs at 1kHz. It falls to 1060.5 at 20kHz and at 20Hz. Determine

(i) lower cut-off frequency

(ii) upper cut-off frequency and

(iii) bandwidth.

Maximum gain = 1500 x% of 1500 = 1060.5

Thus,
                    x = 70.7%

         (i) Lower cut-off frequency = f1 = 20Hz

        (ii) Upper cut-off frequency = f2 = 20kHz

       (iii) Bandwidth = f2-f1 = 19.98kHz
