Determine fraction of the atomic volume, Chemistry

Assignment Help:

The nucleus of an atom can be assumed to be spherical. The radius of the nucleus of mass number 7  is given by 1.25x 10-13 A 1/3 cm  Radius of atom is one A. If the mass number is 64, then the fraction of the atomic volume that is occupied by the nucleus is:

(1)1.0x 10-3

(2) 5.0x 10-5

(3)  2.5x 10-2

(4) 1.25x 10-13

Ans: 1.25x 10-13
