Determine about the Wireless technology
Wireless technology (WiFi) enables connection of a computer to Internet without the need for connecting cables. A router (comprising a modem and external aerial) is connected to a telephone line and it's then possible for any computer within range to communicate with router and allow Internet access -link between router and computer is completely wireless. Main advantage of doing this is clearly portability (which means can go anywhere within range as no wires are needed).
