In this section we will review how teams are designed and how they can be optimally supported on the road to effectiveness. There are three levels of inputs that will be discussed below: team design, leadership and organisational support. As a team member, one does not have much say in how these issues can be altered to improve team effectiveness. However, it is important to recognise and understand how these issues impact other aspects of teams that you as a team member can change, such as team processes.
