Due to the complexity of the tasks involved in many projects, communication of responsibility for those tasks is often helped by means of graphical planning techniques.

Describe the techniques of Gantt charts.

A  Gantt chart can use the information from the WBS process to build a graphical representation of the activities of a project shown as a bar chart. Every bar in the graph shows the period over which a particular activity is listed to be performed. It illustrates the begin and finishing time of the several tasks and the resources needed for each activity at a particular point in time of the project.
