Explain how suppressor grid eliminates effect of secondary emission in pentode
Ans: Suppressor grid is placed in between plate and screen grid. It's connected with the cathode and obtains the same potential as that of cathode. As suppressor grid is at negative potential with respect to plate, secondary electrons emitted from the plate are repelled back to plate or suppressed by it. Hence the effect of secondary emission is eliminated.
as flux = E.A and flux density is equal to flux/A then why A/A cannot e cancelled ?
why we use compensater??
