Describe the general pattern of cash flows from a bond with a positive coupon rate.

Cash flows from a bond along with a positive coupon rate contain periodic interest payments and the face value payment at maturity. Coupon interest payments take place at regular intervals throughout the life of the bond.  The face value payment takes place on the maturity date.
