Describe the advantages of sulphur

Sulphur also increases the oil content of crops such as flax and soyabeans. Disulphide linkages ( -S-S-) have recently been associated with the structure of protoplasm, and quantity of sulphydryl group in plants has in some cases been related to increased cold resistance. Defi ciency of sulphur causes a pale green or yellow colour of leaves.
