Describe the advantage of State chart Diagram

A state chart represents a state machine, emphasizing flow of control from one state to other. A state machine is a behaviour which specifies sequence of states that an object passes through during life time in response to events together with its response to those events. A state is a situation / condition during object's life which performs some activity or waits for some event. It contains simple states, transitions, composite states, actions, and events. The notation for multiple states depending on action / events based on set of activities is shown as:
