Describe Adding and Subtracting Square Roots?
To add or subtract square roots, the radicands must be the same. If the radicands are the same, add/subtract the coefficients (the numbers outside the radical signs).
Examples:√7+ √7 = 2√7√2 + 3√2 = 4√2 Note: Assume the coefficient is 1 for square roots that have no coefficient. For example p √3 = 1√3
√2 +2√2 ≠ √2 and √2 + 2√2 ≠ 3 √2
Note: Always be sure to simplify the square roots first, because sometimes two square roots might not look the same, but they really are.

tan9x = (tan7x + tan2x)/(1 - tan7x*tan2x) here its given 1 - tan2x*tan7x= 0 implies tan9x = infinity since tan9x = (3tan3x - tan^3(3x))/(1 - 3tan^2 (3x)) = infinity implies
