Deodorants:

Just as the name suggests, deodorants are applied basically to mask the body odour. The body odour provides from the bacterial action subsequent perspiration. Hence a deodorant has to, possess anti-bacterial properties. Aluminum salts, have been make to possess excellent antibacterial properties. Additionally to aluminum salts, ZnO, ZnO2 and (C17H35COO)2 Zn as well find use in deodorant preparations as they are astringents also antiseptics. Phenolic antibacterials that have shown as effectual body deodorant, are parachlorometaxylenol and dichlorometaxylenol comprising subsequent structures.
