Explain whether each of the following is sufficiently supported by consideration to be a contract. Provide examples, laws, or other relevant information to support your answer. Maggie suffered a self-inflicted injury but she falsely blamed Richard. Richard agreed to pay Maggie $500 if Maggie promised not to sue Richard for her injuries. Carol and Sue were in a car accident and there is a dispute as to who was at fault. Sue offered Carol $1000 in exchange for Carol's promise not to sue her. Ken promised to pay Betty $1000 because she was a good friend and voluntarily took care of him after his car accident. When Betty was hired as an accountant, she agreed not to compete against her employer until her employment ended.
