Define water losses by Intestine and Lungs?

Intestine: A small quantity of water (about 100-200 ml) is normally lost in faeces, but this can exceed 5 L in diarrhoeal episodes.

Lungs: The air expired from the lungs also contains water. Any condition that would increase the rate of respiration - for example, fever-increases the water loss by this route. An individual engaged in the vigorous activity will lose more water by this route as compared to one who is sedentary. The details of input and output in a cool environment are shown in Table.
