Define the term - microfilaments and microtubules
The cytoskeleton is, in fact, termed as the "bone and muscle" of the eukaryotic cell, and is composed of a network, consisting of two major types of protein filaments called the microfilaments and microtubules. The cytoskeleton, not only provides a rigid framework for the cell, but also provides numerous points of attachment to various structures within the cell.
