Define the term - Array
A fixed length, ordered collection of values of same type stored in contiguous memory locations; collection may be ordered in several dimensions.
Values stored in an array are known as elements. Elements are accessed by indexing into array: an integer value is used to indicate ordinal value of the element. For instance, if a is an array with 20 elements, then a [6] is the element of a with ordinal value 6. Indexing may start at any number, but normally it starts at 0. In the instance above a[6] is the seventh value in a when indexing start at 0.
It does not have any cycles (circuits, or closed paths), which would imply the existence of more than one path among two nodes. It is the most general kind of tree, and might be co
What is the best-case number of comparisons performed by mergesort on an input sequence of 2 k distinct numbers?
Q. What do you understand by the term sparse matrix? How sparse matrix is stored in the memory of a computer? Write down the function to find out the transpose of a sparse matrix u
how do we use 4-discs stack to solve tower of hanoi problem and write an algorithm to solve it?
In this project you will write a program to produce a discrete time simulation of a queue as shown in Fig. 1. Time is slotted on the input and the output. Each input packet follows
The time needed to delete a node x from a doubly linked list having n nodes is O (1)
