Define the Prevention of diseases - Function of Vitamin E?
Because of its anti-oxidant function and its role in inhibiting cell proliferation of smooth muscles, vitamin E can be used for prevention treatment of diseases. Epidemiological studies suggest that dietary vitamin E influences the risk of cardiovascular disease.
