Similar to all animal cells, protozoans are covered by a plasma membrane which surrounds cytoplasm of the cell, protozoan's integument or skin. Golgi apparatus, rough endoplasmic reticulum, and lysosomes which they produce, fuse with ingested food vacuoles, phagosomes.
