What is operations strategy? 

Answer: Operations strategy is the plan and actions taken at operational level to support and implement the business strategy. An operations strategy deals with structural issues as well as setting performance variables and targets. Strategy formulation is a process used iteratively to interpret the business strategy and to implement change.
