(a) List at least three reasons why you would convert an InDesign document to an Adobe PDF file before sending to the printing agency?

(b) You realised that you have been working with RGB colours and must eventually convert the colours to CMYK.

  • Define the meaning of abbreviations of CMYK and RGB.
  • According to you, what does the "K" in CMYK stands for? Why has "K" been used? Provide two reasons.
  • List down the five steps to follow for converting the file into PDF file for print.

(c) You have been asked to embed images by the printing agency. Provide a reason why this must be done?

(d) The printing agency staffs often call you to say that there are missing fonts in your soft copy during printing processes. What two measures would you undertake to avoid this problem this time?

(e) As a designer, you must make sure that all registration marks are well labeled. Thus, name the spaces and guides below
