Define the both - Direct extrusion and Indirect extrusion
Direct extrusion: Billet is placed in a container and forced through the die by a piston.
Indirect extrusion: Extruded part is first forced through the die and then passes through ram stem. Billet is pressed between the container and the die in case of indirect extrusion. In case of direct extrusion billet is placed between die and the ram.
