Define the Basic Components of an N.C System
The basic components of an N.C system are as follow:
a) Programmer of Instruction: - It is a set of direction which will tell the machine tool what to do. It is coded in numerical or symbolic form on some type of input medium such as one inch wide.
b) Machine controller unit (M.C.U):- It consists of the electronics and hardware that read and interpret the program of instruction and convert it in to mechanical action of the machine tool.
c) Machine tool or other controlled process: - It performs the useful work. A machine tool consists of the following.
1) Work table and work fixtures
2) Spindle
3) Cutting tools
4) Motors and controls for drives
5) Other auxiliary equipment needed in machining operation.
the velocity of a particle moving along x axis is defined by v=kx^3-4x^2+6x where v is in m/s,x in m and k is a constant .if k=2 compute the acceleration when x=2m
Soldering This is a group of join process, which generates, coalescence of materials by heating them to a suitable temperature and by using a filler metal having a melting point
Loading Conditions Non-uniformity of loading has to be considered in the choice of foundations particularly in highly compressible soils. It is not uncommon for buildings with
Gear Boxes : Motorcycle engines do not produce their full power at all RPM. There is very little power at idle and the power goes up as the engine RPM increases. At a certain RPM,
Evaluate the magnitude, direction and position of the resultant of the system of forces (using vector method) shown in figure below.
Overbridges, Fly-Overs And Underpasses: Railway Over-bridges Railway Over-bridges (ROB) are structures constructed to enable the road traffic to go over the railway t
Ott o Cycle (1876): This cycle consists of the two reversible adiabatic processes and the two constant volume processes as shown in the figure given below on P - V and T -
