Define the Bacillus cereus

Bacillus cereus is not a common cause of food poisoning. It is a Gram positive, aerobic, spore forming rod shaped bacteria normally present in soil, dust and water. The bacterium has a minimum growth temperature around 4-50C, with maximum around 48-500C. Optimum pH range for growth is 4.9 to 9.3
