Assignment Help:

Define Sounding or Sensing Devices?

Sounding devices are effective in checking scour in the streambed adjacent to a bridge. Although sounding/sensing devices can be used independently, they are commonly part of an underwater inspection. Sounding devices depend on some type of signalling system. While these systems are quite effective, they can be misinterpreted. An on-site diver can investigate questionable readings and verify the bottom conditions.
