Define about signal and component of obejct oriented modeling
A signal is a specification of an asynchronous stimulus communicated among instances.
A component is a physical and replaceable part of a system which confirms to and provides realization of a set of interfaces. In UML, it is represented as a rectangle with tabs. The notation for component and interface are as follow:
