Define redo logs, Database Management System

Assignment Help:

Redo Logs:Any database must have minimum two redo logs. These are the rules for the database; the redo logs record all modifies to the system objects or user objects. If any type of failure happens, modifies recorded in the redo logs may be used to bring the database to a proper state without losing any committed operations. In the case of non-data loss failure, Oracle may accept the information in the redo logs automatically without intervention from the DBA. The redo log files are fixed in shape and size and never show dynamically from the size at which they were prepared.
