Define the use of quartz crystal method to detect ultrasonic waves.
Quartz crystal method:
This method is based onto the principle of Piezo-electric effect. While one pair of the opposite faces of a quartz crystal is representation to the ultrasonic waves, other pairs of opposite faces expanded opposite charges. Such charges are amplified and detected by using an electronic circuit.
