Define Protection against poisoning - Function of Vitamin E?

1) Protection against poisoning: It protects liver from injury due to carbon tetra chloride poisoning.

2) Protection of both vitamin A and carotene: It protects vitamin A and βcarotene from destruction by oxidation, especially in the alimentary tract, thus  sparing the supply of vitamin A available to the body.
