Define Points, Lines, and SpacesPoints, lines, and planes are known as undefined or primitive terms. These are the most significant and fundamental concepts in the study of geometry. They are so basic that we will explain them in place of of define them.
v PointsA point has no length, width or height; it points out a position. generally we use a capital letter to name a point and utilize a dot to represent it in figures. We call the points below point A, point B and point C.
1. Lines A line is a set of continuous points which extend infinitely in either direction. A line is straight and comprise infinite length. It has no width and no height.
2. PlanesA plane is a set of points which makes a flat surface which extends infinitely in all directions. A plane has infinite length and width but no height.
We can ascertain a plane by a set of three points which are not all on one line and name the plane by placing a single letter at the corner of the plane.
We termed this plane "plane ABC" or "plane N"3. SpacesA space is a set of all points. It has no boundaries; that is, it has infinite length, width, and height.
