One-way Associations
If an association is only traversed in single direction, then it is known as one-way association. It is implemented as a pointer or an attribute which contains the object reference. If the multiplicity is "one", as in Figure, then it is a easy pointer; otherwise, if the multiplicity is "many", then it is a group of pointers. If "many" end is ordered, then a list may be used, instead of a set. A qualified association with multiplicity "one" could be implemented as a dictionary object.
