Define Mineral Trioxide Aggregate - Materials for Root End Filling

  • Widely used

  • Superior sealing qualities when compared to S-EBA and amalgam
  • Tissue regeneration (dentin, PDL, and Cementum) "most imp. Advantage"
  • Unique, has different physical properties: very fine, gray-colored powder, mixed with a sterile liquids (saline or LA solution) on sterile glass slab
