Define Handshaking.
Handshaking is a method commonly used to accompany ever data item being transfer with the control signal that show the presence of data in the bus. The unit receiving the data item responds with another control signal to acknowledge receipt of data. This type of agreement is known as Handshaking.
The data bus is Bi-directional because the similar bus is used for transfer of data among Micro Processor and memory or input / output devices in both the direction.
