Define the graded index multimode fibers intermodal dispersion specifically.
In graded index fibers, the index of the core material slowly raises and turns into maximise at the centre of the core. Hence the rays that travel off-axis by the core travels via regions of lower refractive index and therefore speeds up and at last catches up periodically along with the rays traveling axially. It decreases the intermodal dispersion by the typical value of 75ns/km.nm for a SI-MM fiber to approx 35ns/km.nm for such graded index multimode fiber.

If the intensity of sound is maximum at time t = 0, one beat is known as formed when intensity changes into maximum again after becoming minimum once in among.
1. What do you understand by diffraction of waves? Explain why the diffraction of sound is more easily observable than the diffraction of light? 2. The wavelength of two spectra

Phase in sinusoidal functions or in waves has two different, but closely related, meanings. One is the initial angle of a sinusoidal function at its origin and is sometimes called
LENZ’S LAW A change of flux in a closed circuit induces an emf and sets up a current. The direction of this current is such that its magnetic field tends to oppose the c
A Rayleigh interferometer (as shown in the figure below) can be used to measure the index of refraction of air. Two transparent tubes (T 1 and T 2 ) are placed behind two slits. O
