Define function point, Software Engineering

Assignment Help:

 What is function point?

Function point measures the functionality from the user point of view, that is, on the basis of what the user request and receives in return. Therefore, it deals withthe functionality being delivered, and not with the lines of code, source modules, files etc. measuring size in this way has the advantage that size measure is independent of the technology used to deliver the function.
