Define Ferricyanide-cyanide reagent or Drabkin's solution?
Dissolve 0.2 g potassium ferricyanide, 0.05 g potassium cyanide and 1.0 g sodium bicarbonate in about 100-1 50 ml distilled water. Add 1 ml of nonionic detergent like Triton X-100. Make this to 1000 ml with distilled water. This solution should be made fresh once a month and stored in a brown bottle as it is unstable in light. Reagent should be pipetted carefully and care should be taken not to discard cyanide solution into sinks. Commercial Drabkin's solution is also available. We can use this commercial solution as well.
