EXPLANATION:
Displacement is a physical quantity which defines the motion of a body from its starting position to its final position. It is a vector quantity and can be shown by a vector that defines how far and in what direction the body has been displaced from its original position. The tail of the displacement vector lies at starting position and its tip or arrowhead lies at the last position where displacement ended.
