Define Deuterostomes in animal kingdom?

Coelomate animals are thought to have separated into two divergent lines of evolution in terms of the way embryos develop. In the embryonic development sequence of one group, the mouth forms before the anus forms. These animals are referred to as protostomes. In the second group of coelomates, the anus forms prior to the development of the mouth, and these organisms are called deuterostomes. The members of two Phyla, the Echinodermata and the Chordata, have the deuterostome type of embryological development. Three phyla of uncertain affinity are collectively referred to as the lopophorates. they share a common structure called the lophophore, a u-shaped body fold around the mouth that bears tentacles lined with cilia. The lophophore's function is to collect food.
