Define Compartments of Extracellular Fluid?
The extracellular fluid compartment is further subdivided into several smaller compartments. These include:
1. Plasma
2. The intravascular fluid compartment, and
3. The intercellular [interstitial or extravascular fluid (ISF)] compartment.
