Define Calculi and casts - abnormal constituent of urine

An abnormal concretion in the body usually formed of mineral salts and found in the gall bladder, kidney or urinary bladder, for example, is referred to as calculi while casts refer to the small tubules. These may be present in urine due to the formation of renal stones in any part of the urinary system.
