Define briefly about Extranet.

Extranet:

Extranet is Extension of an Intranet which makes the latter available to outside companies or individuals along with or without an intranet. This is also defined like a collaborative Internet connection along with other companies and business partners. Parts of the Intranet made accessible to the customers or business partners for exact applications. Therefore the Extranet is an extended Intranet that isolates business communication through the Internet by secure solutions. Extranets give the privacy and security of an Intranet when the global reach of the Internet.
