Define about the Spectral Techniques - Colorimetry?

Many determinations in the biochemistry laboratory are based on measurements of radiant energy emitted, transmitted, absorbed, or reflected under controlled conditions. The optical principles involved in spectrophotometry are discussed in this section. We begin our study of spectral techniques by first getting to know what is colorimetry, photometry and spectrophotometric measurement.
