Define about the Modified Joule-Thomson?
Container A of variable volume V controlled by a frictionless piston immersed in a bath at temperature T. This container is connected by a pipe with a porous plug to another container, B, of fixed volumeV1. Container A is primarily occupied by an ideal gas at pressure P while container B is primarily evacuated.
The gas is authorized to flow through the plug and the pressure on the piston is maintained at the constant value P. While the pressure of the gas in B reaches P the experiment is terminated. Abandon any heat conduction through the plug show that the final temperature of the gas in B is T1= (Cp/Cv) where Cp and Cv are the molar heats at constant pressure and volume of the gas.
The threshold of hearing is 10 -12 watts/m 2 or 0 dB. How many times more intense than the threshold of hearing is 70dB and what is the actual intensity (in watts/m 2 ) at the 7
Which of the answers listed below best completes the statement: The rate at which any part of a wave travels from one place to another determines the waves: a) Propagati
The opposition offered to the circular motion of bodies like sphere, disc, ring, cylinder etc. on another surface is known as rolling friction.
Advantages of fibre optics: Fibre-optic communications systems have a large bandwidth, e.g. 1 GHz. The bandwidth is the maximum rate at which information can be transmitted.
