A. Within a given cell type individual chromosomes tend to remain within distinct regions of the nucleus and are not randomly positioned. 

B. The position of chromosomes and genes can vary during distinct developmental stages and  among healthy and disease ridden cells.

C. Lamin proteins interact physically with actively transcribed regions of chromosomes and participate  in the localization of these genes to the center of the nucleus.
