Crankcase-basic components of engine , Mechanical Engineering

Crankcase: It is connected to engine cylinder. It splits into two parts, named as right crankcase and left crank case. It supports the kick-starter spindle, crankshaft, main shaft and counter shaft. The right and left halves of crank case are shown in Figures, respectively.
