When converting management dilemma into research questions, what issues should be considered and why?

Answer

A manager when faced with a dilemma is surrounded by numerous elements of decision making namely: (1) Decision making environment; (2) Objectives of decision maker; (3) Alternative courses of action and (4) Consequences of alternative actions. If research question is developed without keeping the above 4 elements in mind there are all chances that there would a bias in early stage of research that would carry itself further in total process and may result in wrong conclusion.
