Construct a conceptual data model, Database Management System

Assignment Help:

Competition entrants can be either Individuals, or Teams. A Team is usually sponsored by a business, and, in that case, the team members would all wear T-shirts with the sponsoring business logo on them. Some business also donate prizes. Entrants can register to join the competition from now up until the week before the competition begins.

The competition is to be held over 1 full week, and every entrant will trade for 8 hours in total, which will consist of 4 x 2-hour trading sessions. Some sessions will be held at Bond University, others will be scheduled in locations around the Gold Coast, using one of the many offices the club has access to. The Club will send each entrant their scheduled session details (where and when) in advance. During each 2-hour session, details of any trades made will be recorded by a session judge.

At the end of the weekend, prizes are awarded for specific categories, such as: Biggest winning trade, most number of successful trades, best trading office, most valuable final portfolio, etc..

1. Use the business rules below to construct a conceptual data model (in PowerDesigner 7.5) for the Bond University Share Trading Club

2. Assign suitable data types and primary keys.

3. Copy and paste the PowerDesigner conceptual data model into this Word file and list any assumptions and any additional business rules that you feel are necessary in the table below. Note that any additional business rules must be consistent with the information given. Only list assumptions and business rules that are necessary to make your model work. I will take off marks for spurious/irrelevant rules and assumptions.
