(a)(1) Show different types of voltmeters commonly used.

(2) A basic d'Arsonval meter movement with an internal resistance Rm = 100 ?,and a full scale current of Im = 1mA is to be converted into a multi-range d.c.voltmeter with ranges of 0-10 V,0-50 V, 0-250 V and 0-500 V. Find the values of the various multiplier resistances

(b) With the help of a circuit diagram explain the functioning of the peak responding voltmeters

(c) Compare the merits and demerits of analog voltmeters with digital voltmeters.

(d) What are the the main source of measurement errors encountered while using a Wheatstone bridge for precise measurement of resistances.
